Birdman y House of cards destacan en las nominaciones a los premios del Sindicato de Actores

Este 10 de diciembre se dieron a conocer los nominados a los Screen Actors Guild Awards, premios del Sindicato de Actores de Cine. 

Liderando las nominaciones se encuentra la cinta del mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, Birdman, que competirá en mejor elenco, mejor actor masculino de reparto por el papel de Edward Norton y mejor actriz de reparto por el rol de Emma Stone.

Además, Michael Keaton competirá en la categoría a mejor actor protagónico, luchando contra Eddie Redmayne (La Teoría del todo), Jake Gyllenhall (Nightcrawler), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) y Steve Carell (Foxcatcher).

Otras de las cintas que destacaron son Boyhood y La Teoría del todo.

En las mujeres, la competencia por la mejor actriz protagónica estará entre Reese Witherspoon (Wild), Rosamund Pike (Girl Gone), Julianne More (Still Alice), Felicity Jones (La Teoría del todo) y Jennifer Aniston (Cake).

En televisión, la categoría al mejor elenco será peleada por las series Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Homeland y House of Cards, esta última, la que logró mayores nominaciones compitiendo además en mejor protagónico masculino (Kevin Spacey) y protagónico femenino (Robin Wright).

En comedia lucharán las ya emblemáticas The big bang theory, Modern Family y Veep, además de las más recientes Brooklyn Nine-Nine y Orange is the new black.

Los nominados se dieron a conocer en una ceremonia conducida por Eva Longoria y Ansel Engort.
